Rokeya Memorial Health Clinic @ Bogra 

INTRODUCTION: Rokeya Memorial Health Clinic is a free  health care facility in his village @ Bogra district,  offering services to economically disadvantaged individuals for free or at a nominal cost. Rural people have limited access to health care services due to economic factors, cultural and social differences, educational shortcomings, workforce shortage in public community clinics, less transportation options, costly private healthcare services and the sheer isolation of living in remote areas all unite to create health care disparities among the people of rural Bangladesh. 

CHARITABLE OBJECTS: M22 Doctors’ Foundation aims to ensure the quality healthcare with the affordable price among the rural outreach people of Bangladesh through a sustainable rural healthcare network.

FOCUSED AREAS: Each healthcare project will focus the preventive & primary healthcare services through a Green -Clean Rural Health Clinic-complex: The following services will be provided as follows: [a]Treatment of common ailments & First aid, [b] Specialist’s opinion through telemedicine, [c] Early detection of disease through health screening, [d]  Outreach health camps  [e] Essential medication and basic diagnostic tests, [f] Vaccination center, [g] Appropriate referral to the higher center to maintain the continuity of treatment .

 OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT: The followings are the positive outcome of this project: [a] Underprivileged people will avail medical treatment at free of cost [b] Affluent people will get treatment at an affordable price. [c] Employment opportunity, [d] Health awareness development among the local people, [e] Disease prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of illness, [g] Improved quality of life.

PLAN FOR PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY: These are as follows: [a] Need based healthcare services, [b] Local community involvement, [c] Definite fund sources to maintain the operational cost, [d]Green clean healthcare environment, [e] The project will be administered by the clinic governing body. [e]The overall guidance will be provided by M22 Doctors’ Foundation.

STEPS OF IMPLEMENTING this RURAL HEALTH CLINIC:

M22 doctors’ foundation will sponsor, construct & monitor this healthcare project. Dr. Ruhul Amin Mandal is our project convener. He donated a piece of land for this healthcare project.
