PROFESSION & INCOME OF BENEVOLENT: The main earnings of Mr. Shamsuzzoha from a small pharmacy by selling medicines. He also owns a piece of land on which he used to cultivate vegetables initially.  Now a days he is unable to do the same work due to his low backache pain. So, he has to spend extra money to   hire a daily worker for his vegetable farm.  His monthly income is very poor (BDT 9,000 per month) in respect to his monthly expenditure (18,000 per month). He has six family members with a special child sister. As a result, average monthly deficit is BDT 9,000(Nine thousand) only.

                                                            THE HOUSEHOLD & EARNING SOURCES OF THE BENEVOLENT [ BEFORE FUNDING]

PLAN TO HELP THE BENEVOLENT: Mr. Syed Shamsuzzoha, our benevolent came to notice by   Dr.  Salma through her husband as he has been doing charity in his home village area @Shailkupa, Jhenaidah since long time.  Considering the above financial condition of the benevolent Dr Salma takes the initiative to help Mr. Shamshuzzoha through M22 Doctors’ Foundation with the aim to make his life self-reliant. On primary evaluation of the benevolent, it is found that Mr. Shamshuzzoha is a physically restricted person due his low back pain and very low earning person with additional liabilities of his special child sister. At present moment he is in a monthly deficit of BDT 9,000. There are no other ways for him to increase his monthly earning from his medical shop and farming due to lack of fund and his own physical disability. Considering the above situations, this project proposal has been approved by m22 Doctors’ foundation.

PROJECT PROPOSALS: [DRF-SRP-23-005]:

[ 1st STEP] :  For immediate increase of  monthly earnings: [a] Renovation of his medical shop into a multipurpose grocery shop including medicines. The more amount of the selling goods, the more amount profit at the end of the day. Initial profit target per month projected as BDT Ten Thousand (10,000), [b] A very small-scale poultry farm producing at least 12 eggs per day;

[2nd STEP]:  for long term earnings: [a] A small-scale goat farm (4 goats), [b] Home based Mushroom farming, [c] Banana Farming

FUND REQUIREMENT: BDT 1,00,000 only

OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT: The followings are the positive outcome of this project: [a] Mr. Shamsuzzoha will run his own business smoothly instead of moving here and there. [b] Moreover, he will be able to earn extra money that can be deposited as savings in a local bank. This savings will help him to fulfil his other basic needs, thereby overall improvement the quality of life. [ c] Mr. Shamsuzzoha will be able to contribute his sister’s treatment. It will create an enormous value in respect of the social perspective. [d] Educations of his children will be ensured [e] The capital investment is one time, but its benefit will be continued for many years. With time Mr. Shamsuzzoha will own   a significant amount of capital. So, he can invest more. It’s a vicious cycle of an individual’s   growth. [f] Mr. Shamsuzzoha and his family members will get free medical consultation from Dr. Salma and M22 Doctors’ Foundation as well,

PLAN FOR PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY: These are as follows: [a]The project will be supervised by Dr Salma & his husband, [b] The overall guidance will be provided by M22 Doctors Foundation, [c] Mr. Shamshuzzoha, the benevolent is experienced and competent enough to   run the “multipurpose grocery shop”, “Mushroom & banana farming”, “Poultry & goat rearing”, [d] Support from the family members, [e] Two types of earning are planned, one is monthly earnings & other is the long-term earning,  [f] The benevolent will be encouraged to start a monthly savings,
