PROFESSION & INCOME OF BENEVOLENT: Mr. Rafiqul Islam Manna, a physically disabled person having no cultivating land. He used to run his family from a grocery shop with a marginal income. The shop had been running with a minimum monthly turnover due to insufficient selling goods as a result of no funds. Moreover, he had to pay monthly 6500 takas to some micro credit organizations as he took loan amounting 65000 takas. The purpose of the loan was to repair his grocery shop and the marriage of her two daughters. The grocery business had almost been ruined during the Covid pandemic period. Since then, Mr. Manna unable to get rid of the poverty. Moreover, reimbursing monthly 6500 taka was an overburden to him. He belongs to a land of 5 decimals on which he lives in a muddy walled house roofed with tin. Her wife ensures the house hold works and their two daughters are married and living separately with their husbands.

benevolent is about BDT. Ten thousand (10,000) only.

PLAN TO HELP THE
BENEVOLENT:
The information of our benevolent, Mr. Rafiqul Islam Manna came to Dr. Shibli’s notice through
Mr. Masum Haidar, Founder
Chairman of Gondharbapur Social Development Foundation (GSDF-2014). The
foundation (GSDF-2014) has been doing various charitable works in the local
community of Naogaon and Joypurhat districts since 2014 under the authorization
of local public representatives (U.P. Chairmans). Mr. Masum is very close and dependable to Dr.
Shibli in many ways. Considering the above situations of the benevolent Dr
Shibli takes the initiative to help Mr. Manna through M22 Doctors’
Foundation with the aim to make his life self-reliant. On primary evaluation of the
benevolent, it’s found that Mr. Manna is a physically disabled and very low
earning person with additional liabilities of the debt. The total dues were 40,660
takas. There was no other
way for him to rise his monthly earning from his grocery shop due to lack of
fund and his physical disability.
Considering the willingness
of the benevolent, his experiences, already owner of a grocery shop, neighbor’s
support & continuous supervision facility, the proposal approved and
implemented by M22 Doctors’ Foundation.
FUND HANDOVER TO MR. MASUM, SUPERVISOR OF THIS PROJECT
MANNA’S GROCERY SHOP INAUGURATION CEREMONY & HIS NEW START OF SELF-RELIANT JOURNEY
OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT: The followings are the positive outcome of
this project:
[a] Mr. Manna will run his own business smoothly
instead of moving here and there to run his family.
[b] He has been freed from his total debt on 18th
October, 2024 as all of his loan BDT 40660 reimbursed to the respective micro
credit organizations.
[c] Moreover, he will be able to earn extra money that
can be deposited as savings in a local bank. This savings will help him to
fulfil his other basic needs, thereby overall improvement the quality of life.
[d] Mr. Manna will be able to contribute his daughter’s
family time to time. It will create an enormous value in respect of the social
perspective.
[e] The capital investment is one time, but its benefit
will be continued for many years. With time Mr. Manna will own a significant amount of capital. So, he can
invest more. It’s a vicious cycle of an individual’s growth.
[f] Mr. Manna and his family members will get free
medical consultation from Dr. Shibli and M22 Doctors’ Foundation as well.
PLAN FOR PROJECT
SUSTAINABILITY: These are as follows:
[a] The project will be supervised by Mr. Masum Haidar,
Founder Chairman of the local charitable organization (GSDF-2014).
[b] The overall guidance will be provided by the
convener of this project.
[c] Mr. Manna, the benevolent is experienced and
competent on Running the grocery shop. He is receiving technical support from
the above-mentioned charitable organization.
[d] Mr. Manna has been started a monthly savings of BDT
1,000 in the local bank & planned to increased more monthly savings withing
6 months.
[e] His wife can help him time to time.

Mr. Manna’s grocery shop business has been
doing well with increased trend of monthly profit. It was BDT 7,500 [Seven thousand & five
hundred] in the month of November ,2023 as per report from the supervisor of
this project. He has already started to deposit monthly one thousand in the
bank. M22 Doctors’ Foundation provides
medical advices for his family & the neighbors through telemedicine time to
time.
