PROFESSION & INCOME OF BENEVOLENT: Mr. Md Zakir Hossain, basically a screen-print worker used to work in a screen print factory, Dhaka before Covid Pandemic. He is a Covid Victim like many other. He remained unemployed since a couple of years. Now he lives in his village and run his family expenditure by involving himself as a daily labor in different local farm houses (Livestock farm, Shrimp hatchery etc.) His monthly income was not very attractive to run his family & very difficult to meet the 5 basic needs for his family members with his current income.
PRESENT INCOME DEFICIT: Monthly cost of living for Mr. Zakir is about BDT fifteen thousand (15,000) only. Average monthly income about BDT Eight thousand (8,000) only.So average monthly deficit of the benevolent is about BDT Seven thousand (7,000) only.

PLAN TO HELP THE BENEVOLENT: Mr.
Zakir is a known person to Dr. Kismat, the convener of this project, through
her brother Mr. Quel. Dr. Kismat takes the initiative to help Mr. Zakir through
M22 Doctors’ Foundation with the aim to make his life self-reliant. On
primary evaluation it revealed that Mr. Zakir is a [a] hardworking person having Work
experiences and hands-on training on Livestock rearing, poultry farming, shrimp
hatchery and fish farming as well. Furthermore, [b] he owns an abundant grocery
shop for 3 years which used to run by his late father.
Considering the ability of benevolent, his willingness, local small business trends & continuous supervision facility, this proposal has been approved and implemented by M22 Doctors’ Foundation.:
BUSINESS PROPOSALS for BENEVOLENT: [a] Grocery shop:
To restart the abandoned Grocery shop by renovating it. It will provide the
benevolent a monthly income base. No
need to go outside here and there for earnings. [b]Goat rearing: 4 in numbers (Black Bengal goat, average age
:10-12months). It’s a long-term investment and will contribute him a stable
deposit in the long run.
FUND REQUIREMENT: BDT 97,000 ONLY: [a] Repair cost of the grocery store is about BDT 10,000, [b] Cost of “opening grocery goods”: 40,000, [c] Price of 4 goats: 30,000, [d] Goat feeding cost: 7,000 (6 months), [e] Cost of Goat shed construction: 10,000.
OUTCOME
OF THE PROJECT:
The followings are the positive outcome of this project: [a] Mr. Zakir will run his own business instead of moving here and there for his monthly earnings. [b] He will also get rid of the monthly deficit of BDT 7000(Seven thousand) after 6 months. [c] He will get rid of his regular debt from the local persons, [d] Moreover, he will be able to earn extra money that can be deposited as savings in a local bank. This savings will help him to fulfil his other basic needs, thereby overall improvement the quality of life, [e] The education of his son will be continuous and sound, [f] The family members will get nutrition from the goat Milk, [g] The capital investment is one time, but its benefit will be continued for many years. By this time Mr. Zakir will own a significant amount of capital. So, he can invest more. It’s a vicious cycle of growth, [h] After 5 years support, his son can complete his education from Madrasa uneventfully and enters in to an Entrepreneurship Program of our foundation. [i] Mr. Zakir will be encouraged to start a Medical, Marriage and or education policy for himself and the family members as well to secure their future life .
PLAN FOR PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY: The project will be supervised by Mr. Quel, younger brother of Dr. Kismat. Moreover, Mr. Zakir is experienced and competent on these field. He will get support from Upazilla livestock office, and local veterinary doctor for his goat farm. There is a green grazing field adjacent to his house. it will support the rearing his livestock. Mr. Zakir will be encouraged to start a monthly savings deposit amounting 2 thousand BDT in nearby bank. After 3 years he will get a savings deposit of BDT 72,000. His wife can take care of the goat farm. His son can take care the grocery shop time to time and after completion of his formal study. M22Doctors’ Foundation will provide the overall guidance of the project.

Mr. Zakir’s grocery shop business has been doing well with increased trend of monthly profit. It was BDT 8,000 [Eight thousand ] in the month of December,2023 as per report from the convenor of the project. M22 Doctors’ Foundation provides medical advices for his family & the neighbors through telemedicine time to time.
