Nadim Khan was born in Ishwardi, Pabna and has five brothers and two sisters. He is married with 3 daughters and four grandchildren. He studied at Pabna Cadet College and completed his high school qualifications in 1984.
He studied Medicine and graduated in 1992 from Mymensingh Medical College under University of Dhaka. He immigrated to New Zealand in 1994, and completed a Masters Degree in Public Health and a Masters in Health Sciences endorsed in Gerontology from University of Otago. He had special interest in Health care of the Elderly and Public Health. He worked as a medical researcher affiliated with Christchurch School of Medicine, Christchurch. After working as a physician for ten years in South Island (Banks Peninsula, North Canterbury and Marlborough regions) in New Zealand, he moved to Australia to be close to his three daughters and enjoy the wonderful lifestyle of the Illawarra region.
Nadim Khan has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and surgery and is accredited with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He is a procedural physician and has been practicing Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery since 2014 in Shellharbour, NSW, Australia. He is also involved with the Medical Faculty, University of Wollongong as a Senior Clinical Lecturer.

Working as a Continuing Medical Education Director for the GPs in Marlborough, New Zealand.
