Dr Athful Hai Shibli has more than 30 years’ experience in Clinical practice and Healthcare management. He provides quality healthcare ideas include evaluating innovative healthcare business opportunities for a new provider, assessing existing practices for operational improvements and workflow efficiencies. He has spent the past two decades leading quality improvement initiatives in different healthcare organizations. He wants to make every one’s healthcare journey a positive experience as well as providing quality healthcare in an affordable price.

Currently Dr Athful has been serving in Addu Equatorial Hospital, a tertiary level hospital since February, 2015 as a Senior Medical Officer till date. The hospital has been operated under direct supervision of the Honorable President’s office of Maldives.

Prior to joining AEH, he served as a Head of operations, Thyrocare Bangladesh limited, a CAP accredited diagnostic center. Previously he worked as a Head of operations at the Prescription Point ltd, a diagnostics & Healthcare, Banani , Dhaka,   where he oversaw all operational  and  marketing activities. 

Dr Athful joined Labaid Specialized Hospital, Dhaka as a “Clinical Coordinator”, where he assigned for the improvement of clinical services of the hospital.

Medical tourism is one of his preferred area to work on. He got offer from the MHTC (Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council), Malaysia to promote and facilitate the development of the Malaysian healthcare industry so as to penetrate the global market. He was the manager of Dhaka office (MHSL-Malaysia Healthcare Services Ltd). The experiences those he earned from MHTC yet can be used to start up medical tourism in Bangladesh.

 While at ATI Ltd, a renowned IT company, appointed as a Medical Consultant, where he supervised the incorporation of clinical data into HIS (Hospital Information System) and medical call center.

He also held the position Head of Operations at Synesis IT Ltd, a software company in Dhaka and established the medical call center [789 Health link (Bangla link)] from the scratch & operated with overwhelming responses.

Dr. Athful joined BIRRDEM hospital, Shahbagh, Dhaka on 1995 as his first clinical job as a medical officer and continued for 9 years and gathered a lot of clinical experiences.

Dr. Athful has twenty years’ experience in burn & plastic surgery, with special interest in reconstructive surgery of burn victims, active burn management and diabetic wound management. He is a passionate volunteer for the burn victims and underprivileged people, participated voluminous medical and plastic surgery camp all over Bangladesh. His mentor was Professor Dr Mohammad Shahidullah, pioneer burn and plastic surgeon in Bangladesh.

His eternal interests match with EHBS (Extensive Healthcare Business Solution), a consulting farm for any sort of healthcare projects.  The core values of EHBS on developing the Quality healthcare at people’s doorsteps, hence attached with EHBS as a Healthcare Adviser.
