Professional experience and view about three decades working in public service as serving of targeted people (poorest of the poor) thought government EMOC (Emergency Medical Obstetric Care) project for reducing significance maternal and Neonatal mortality rate. Presently Dr Basu leads in his own district as a District Consultant of Family Planning Clinical supervision with Quality Improvement team (FPCS-QIT) for quality service of Government Family Planning program, Adolescent Health program, Nutrition program and also sexual and Reproductive health Right (SRHR) activity of woman in public health service in grass root levels of Bangladesh.

Finally, he is a member of M-22 doctors’ foundation, has hobby is gardening and travelling.
