Dr. Md. Ershad-Ul Quadir, was born and raised in Dinajpur district, Bangladesh. He received his undergraduate degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh, Bangladesh in January, 1992. After completion of one year internship, he joined Bangladesh Army Medical core in July 1993 as a Captain.

He received his Major rank on July 1998 while working in CMH, Dhaka.  On August 2008 Dr Quadir promoted to Lieutenant Colonel while posted at CMH Savar as a Surgical Specialist. Afterwards he was promoted to Colonel on October 2018 and posted in CMH, Dhaka as a Classified Specialist & Senior Surgeon.

Dr. Quadir is a highly qualified and experienced Surgeon, specializing in general surgery and laparoscopic procedures. He has been serving in Bangladesh Army Medical Core for 32 years. He has worked in a range of hospital and private practice environments, and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. He is also a dedicated, self-motivated professional and providing mentorship to residents and fellows.

Dr. Ershad-Ul Quadir completed his post graduate degree, FCPS in general surgery, Jan, 2014 from BCPS.

Currently, Dr. Ershad-Ul Quadir has been designated as a Classified surgical specialist, Professor &, Head dept of surgery, CMH, Comilla & Army medical college, Comila cantonment.

He is a proud father of one daughter named as Samiha Tabassum Mehreen and two sons of Mujtaba Rafid & Muntaqa Zarif. His beloved wife Prof. (Col). Dr. Hosne Ara Yousuf, MBBS, DCH(DU), MCPS (Paed), FCPS(Pead). Fellow in pediatric Rheumatology, Armed Forces Medical College, Dhaka.

Dr. Ershad Ul Quadir enjoys spending time with his family, and likes to read historical books and travel.
