Dr Shaikh Abdullah Al Mamun born in Rajbari, raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his medical degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh and completed his internship at same medical College Hospital in the year 1992.

He Completed his Post-graduation degree, i.e., MD in Gastroenterology form BIRDEM institute, Dhaka in the year2018 & MPH in preventive medicine form NIPSOM, Mohakhali, Dhaka. In the year2011.

Currently He is affiliated with department of Gastroenterology Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) as an Assistant Professor. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Mamun also bears the administrative responsibility of BSMMU as a Deputy Director (Estate).

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah Al Mamun is one of the founder Secretary General of “Foundation for Doctors' Safety, Rights & Responsibilities”.

Dr Shaikh Abdullah Al Mamun is an approachable doctor who takes pride in his communication skills with patients. He developed his keen interest in medical practice at a young age. He derives the most satisfaction from caring for patients with digestive and liver disorders. Trained in endoscopic treatments, he manages inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, GERD, and other general GI issues. He is keen to ensure that patients are fully informed and involved in all aspects of their care.
