Dr. Devendra Kahaitri was born and raised in Jaywalked, Nepal. He completed his undergraduate medical degree from Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh, Bangladesh in 1994. After that he received his post graduate degree in cardiology from National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases -NICVD, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He returned to the Nepal and resumed his job in medical core in Nepalese Army and occupied in different honorable posts.

Dr. Devendra recently joined as Executive Director at Nepalese Army, Institute of Health Science and he was the Former Director General at Directorate General of Medical Services, NA as well. He was also occupied as Senior Consultant Cardiologist at Shree Birendra Army Hospital from December 2020 to November 2021.

Dr Devendra is very much dynamic in his profession has been attached with the College of Medicine, Kathmandu since 1st oct 2018 till date as Professor of Medicine at NAIHS.

Recently He is living in Patan, also known as 'Lalitpur', the city of artisans, lies 5 km southeast of Kathmandu.

Dr. Devendra is also involved with many charitable organizations in Nepal and Bangladesh He is committed to supporting rural and underprivileged populations in Nepal and beyond.
